Grey Octagon Mosaic Tiles
Grey Octagon Mosaic Tiles
|Suitability||Floors, Walls, Internal|
|Sheets Per Sqm||11.75|
3 -- Tiles suggested for all residential floors; light to moderate traffic areas only, e.g. bathrooms, halls, kitchens, living rooms and wall applications.
For a more subtle approach to a period effect floor space, go for these Grey Octagon Mosaic Tiles. The diamond shapes that sit between the octagons are a gentle shade of grey; and don't come off as strong as the blacks, blues and greens that also occupy this range. The octagon and diamond mosaic mix are perfect for creating an olde-English vintage design. The octagons have a matt finish, whilst the diamond-shaped dots have a gloss finish. They come held together on a mesh netting. To take a closer look at these mosaics, simply order a sample. 11.75 sheets per psm. 25 octagons and 25 squares per sheet.
Product great but clearly chips easily so caution needed, when handling. Haven’t fitted yet but have laid out in situ and looks good. Absolute bargain for the price, but suspect they’re reduced due to complaints.

Slightly bigger individual tiles than required.

I would have loved to use this tile in my hallway but need something with more 'grip' as they will get wet in the hall entrance area and are also slidey, not good for the animals. Sadly, not suitable for my needs, but a gorgeous looking tlle and easy to work with that would be very attractive in the right setting - a stunning dado as well as floor tile.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (4)
These sheets are supplied on a mesh backing and tiles are space with an approximate 2mm grout joint. There are exactly 11.75 sheets per square metre and we advise ordering an addition 10% over what is required, to allow for cuts and wastage.
We would recommend obtaining a sample to ensure the size and finish are suitable for you project before making your final decision. This can be done online or you can call our sales team on 01536 314730 who will happily arrange this for you.
Walls And Floors
The previous question refers to external use where with wet weather there is far more standing water. In a standard bathroom they will only encounter occasional splashes most of the time will be fine whereas in a wet room, they will be walked on with a constant stream or water. Any gloss tile can be slippery when extremely wet so would recommend that if this a concern, bath mats or towels are used in the immediate wet areas, like outside a shower or where you would step out of the bath. However everyones personal requirements vary and we would also recommend a sample is ordered to ensure the tile is suitable for your project.
