Keep it Teal: Balancing cool and warm

Sitting half way between green and blue, teal is a vibrant and refreshing colour; perfect for bringing a dull area to life! On the colour wheel, it sits on the cooler side of the spectrum. This is because blues are reminiscent of cool aspects in nature; the sky, and the ocean. Teal certainly has an aquatic feel to it, and it will cool a room right down. Although this is great in the summer when the sun is shining and it’s nice and warm; but in the winter, when it’s snowing outside, an all-teal scheme might give you the shivers.
