It works. It was thicker than I was expecting. The instructions said "stir well", It would not be possible to stir this product unless you have something very powerful!

I plan to use Aquauseal waterproofing membrane on the plasterboard, which is applied with a brush and tile with this adhesive.
thanks
This adhesive will work but it relies on water dispersion to cure. So as the surface has been made waterproof, it will take longer to dry. It is also only suitable for ceramic tiles up to 300x300 in size. We would usually recommend a cement based adhesive such as our Stand Flex which will have no problem in setting and can cater for larger format tiles:

Ready mixed adhesives are only suitable for wall tiles. For floors, we would recommend a cement based adhesive. It depends on what you are tiling onto as to which adhesive you need, but our Stand-Flex slow set or Uniflex rapidset adhesives are suitable for most applications:

This adhesive has a setting time of 24 hours on standard backgrounds (plaster and plasterboard) and 72 hours on impervious backgrounds such as tanked walls.
The setting is reliant on moisture dispersion but once fully cured, will not revert back to its original workable state even if left wet for too long, although prolonged exposure to water or full immersion can reduce the bond strength. Tiles should be fixed in wet areas with 100% coverage (solid bed) of adhesive as this will drastically reduce the amount of the background adhesive that will become wet in service conditions (such as standard showers and bath surrounds) leaving a more than sufficient bond between the wall and tile until it dries out.
If tiling a wet room or swimming pool, it would be recommended to upgrade the adhesive to powdered cement based adhesive such as Stand Flex:
