You really do need samples to see what they're like in reality. The helpline people were really informative, the delivery was fast and prompt and my fitter didn't mention any problems with it, so I assume all was ok. The fitter said they were 'middling' to fit. He found it needed a slightly different approach to the rock hard laminate he usually fits because the cork edge is soft so he had to be careful when pushing them together, but once he'd got his eye in it was fine. He laid it seamlessly on two floors (i.e. no door threshes) about 50m2 in total - kitchen to living room and then landing and 2 bedrooms, with skirting and door architraves fitted and caulked afterwards, with a 2mm polyurethane waterproof layer underneath. It looks and feels amazingly good! Very Mediterranean was the fitter's assessment - he is very pleased with how it looks too. The house is empty and with this flooring it doesn't echo as you would normally expect which is good evidence of the sound absorbing qualities, and is very warm to walk on. I'm disabled and spend a lot of time on the floor, this flooring gives a bit of 'energy return' when you walk on it, and has a nice slightly soft feel. The fitter wasn't sure how it will last, because of the matt varnish being not as rock-hard as laminate, but then it couldn't be, because the cork itself flexes, so I'll come back in a year and give an update. I checked the manufacturer's website again and it does have the highest domestic grading for wear, so I'm feeling confident it'll be around for a long time to come!

Haven't laid these yet but they are clearly a quality product. Instead of the mylands wax though (which I bought but won't use) I experimented with a coat of satin finish floor varnish which looks lovely.

Definitely 5 stars for the product from Walls and Floors. I have put these tiles in a shower room and utility room. Couldn't be more pleased, they look and feel great and they're from a sustainable source - a bonus. Walls and Floors were the cheapest I could find and their service was excellent, even down to the driver who delivered. Definitely recommend.

Excellent service and lovely product. From searching the website to delivery of the flooring, Wall and Floors did a first class job. They were friendly and helpful on the phone, delivery was swift and on time and the final result is just what I was hoping for. The Odysseus White Tiles look great in an on-suite bathroom and a utility room. I was looking for a natural flooring, I don't like vinyl and couldn't have ceramic tiles, so for the first time I decided on cork. I do hope they look this good for a long time, not having used them before. Work in progress I guess, but I would have no hesitation in recommending the product and Walls and Floors and another plus, they were way cheaper than similar products on other sites.

Great floor, fast delivery, friendly service. Warm and easy to instal. Uneven at places but that's expected by design. Would recommend to use in bedrooms. Looks lovely!

I love the cork flooring so much that it's now on 2 x bathroom floors and kitchen floor and my brother and son also have it on their kitchen floors. It's warm to walk on in bare feet, it's quiet and looks good all the time.
