Hi Annie,

No, but I would recommend having a look at Diablo Beige Travertine Effect Tiles ID 15287.

What is the R rating of this tile?

Hello Ayub

Thank you for your query.

These tiles have a matt glaze on them but don't have an anti-slip rating I'm afraid.

Kind regards

Do the tiles come with random patterns or are they all identical?
Laura Robinson | 7 Mar 2019

Hi Laura

The travertine effect on the tile is random. There will be approximately 10-12 variations before the same design appears again. We recommend loose laying the tiles before fixing so that tiles can be moved around until you have a suitable blend.

Can the Sthenno Floor Tiles go on the walls as well? I'm asking because they come up when I do a wall/internal search.
Philippa | 6 Mar 2018

Answer logo
Hi Phillipa,

These tiles can be used on walls as well as floors, providing the walls a correctly prepared and capable of supporting the weight. We would advise tiling directly to bare plasterboard without a skim or a cement tile backer board such as HardieBacker:
https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/hardiebacker-board-james-hardie

Alternatively we also have a wall only version in a smaller size but same pattern, suitable for all wall substrates:

Can these tiles be cleaned with a steam mop?
Jane Hills | 29 Dec 2017

Answer logo
Hi Jane,

Although the tiles will withstand the mop, we do not recommend that any tiled floors are steam cleaned. The excessive temperature can cause long term damage to the grout, making it less effective against staining and can in some cases cause it to crack. Our cleaner of choice for ongoing maintenance is the LTP Porcelain Tile Cleaner:
https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-porcelain-tile-cleaner-1ltr

For intensive cleaning, we also have the LTP Grimex:

Question logo
Are these slippery in general?? Although it says Matt I am not sure looking at the pics which seem a bit glossy. Anyone who has them please let me know if they would be safe to have in kitchen and hallway considering we have a toddler who runs around. Thanks in advance.
Andy | 14 Dec 2017

Hi Andy,

These tiles have a satin finish which makes them safe while dry and offers a degree of slip resistance when wet. However we always recommend ordering a sample to ensure the colour and finish are acceptable for your situation.
