Question logo
what grout colour or RAL colour matches this tile the closest?
Helen | 26 May 2019
0
Answer logo
Hi Helen

Tiles are very rarely made to any RAL code as there can be variations in shade from one batch to the next. So we are unable to provide any further information on this. However, the design of the tile is extremely varied, containing many shades from grey to beige tones. It would be advisable to obtain a sample tile to compare against a paint colour swatch before making any final decision.

Thank you.

Answer logo
Hi Francis

These tiles have a rating of R10 which should be fine for most internal and external applications. But we would recommend obtaining a sample, to test and ensure that the finish is suitable for your particular requirements.

It isn’t a necessity to seal the tiles but we would recommend sealing the tiles with our LTP Tile and Grout Protector.

this tile good to external use to terrace?

Thank you
Ferenc Lampl | 15 Aug 2018

Answer logo
Hi Ferenc

These tiles are a glazed porcelain and frost resistant, so can be used externally. The textured finish will give a degree if slip resistance in wet conditions, but we would recommend that you obtain a sample to ensure the finish will give sufficient slip resistance for your personal requirements.

Keystone Grey porcelain - How many different patterns are there? The last time I bought porcelain tiles there were only 8 patterns and the repeat was very noticeable.
Dave Rudge | 2 Aug 2018

Answer logo
Hi Dave

Although none of the tiles are completely identical, certain characteristics of the design will appear every 4-5 tiles. As with any shaded product with a dominant design, we always recommend loose laying the floor to achieve a good blend before physically fixing.

Can we use these tiles in our kitchen and the same tile on the patio, or do you have the same tile with a difference thickness for the garden.
Pam | 11 Jul 2018

Answer logo
Hi Pam,

These tiles only come in the one thickness, but being Porcelain and frost resistant, these tiles are suitable for both internal and external use. We would recommend obtaining a sample to ensure you are happy with the colour and finish before making your final decision.

Question logo
Will these tiles go with the Stacked Iron Effect Tiles in a bathroom please?
Clare Lock | 13 Jun 2018
0
Answer logo
Hi Clare,

Both these tiles are made by different manufacturers so there will be a difference in shade and stone effect. However the grey and beige toning of each should work together depending on your intended design. We would recommend obtaining a sample of both tiles to compare in your own light before making your final decision.

Question logo
Are these tiles non slip for exterior use
Dave | 15 May 2018
0
Answer logo
Hi Dave,

These tiles are made from porcelain and therefore frost proof and can be used outside. They don’t have an anti-slip rating on them however. Why not take a look at this link for a tile that may be more suitable for your project https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/anti-slip-tiles

Kind regards,

Can these be used in a wet room? Thanks!
Gemma Walsh | 20 Mar 2018

Answer logo
Hi Gemma,

These tiles are glazed porcelain so impervious to moisture and suitable for wet areas. The riven texture will give a degree of slip resistance when used on the floor, but we would advise obtaining a sample to ensure suitability for your particular requirements.

Question logo
I am looking for external tiles for a large door step (it will be partially covered but want to make sure that it is not too slippy in the rain?
Nicola | 15 Feb 2018

Answer logo
Hi Nicola

These tiles have a matt finish and a subtle slate riven texture which provides a degree of slip resistance in wet conditions. We would recommend ordering a sample to ensure suitability for your particular requirement but if you need a tile with a higher anti-slip rating, here are a couple of examples:

Question logo
Will these tiles look ok with grey grout? Thanks
Julie | 4 Jan 2018
0
Answer logo
Hi Julie,

Grey is the most common colour of grout for any tile as it's a neutral colour that goes with anything. With this particular tile, the grey will tie in nicely with the grey tones in the stone effect. A limestone or beige is also a grout colour worth considering:
