Q & A

Graham26/01/26
What trim would you use for these tiles, I see a copper trim in the picture, also around a window, thank in advanceOur Advice

Hi Graham These tiles require a trim that is 12mm thick as it needs to be 2mm thicker than the tile itself. The finish of the trim would be personal preference. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

What colour are the above tiles please . Our Advice

Hi Silvie, Our Raku Colours Tiles are a mixture of blues, browns and greys. We'd highly recommend ordering a sample to be able to see this in person to ensue you are happy before placing a main order. Kind regards, Walls and Floors

Can i use these tiles as a fire surround? Many thanksOur Advice

Hello Maisie, Yes, these tiles are suitable for usage as a fire surround, as long as they are installed 4-6 inches away from the actual heat source. You need to ensure you are using a fire-resistant adhesive, such as the below: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-adhesive-keraquick-grey-tile-adhesive Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

The tiles in the photos look smaller than 400mm x 200mm. Is the sizing correct? Our Advice

Hello Saf, I can confirm this tile is a 400x200 rectangle tile however it gives an effect as though it is made up of 6 smaller rectangular tiles, I would suggest ordering a sample to see the true size of the tile,

Your pictures all show these tiles placed vertically - could you use them horizontally, so more brick shaped? Our Advice

Hi Kath You can lay these tiles in whichever direction you like to make whatever pattern you like, just make sure the right type of primer and adhesive is used. Regards Walls and Floors
