Hello and thank you for your enquiry. Yes, they can be used on walls. But due to the combined weight of the tile and the adhesive, we do not recommend installing onto plaster or plaster skim. Instead, they can go directly on to bare unskimmed plasterboard, or a tile backer board such as Hardie Backer. Hi Alba Going for a smooth surface pure white glazed porcelain for external use is not recommended, as when it becomes wet or contaminated, the slip resistance would be greatly reduced leading to a high risk of an slipping. For external use and for safety reasons, we cannot recommend a suitable tile for this situation and would advise you make consideration to alternative tiles, with an anti-slip rating of R10 minimum.
