Colourful Carnival New Year’s Eve Living Room

We recently helped to create the Good Homes Room sets at the Ideal Home Show at Christmas! These spaces are made to inspire your interiors for the year ahead, and the Colourful Carnival New Year’s Eve Living Room is certainly full of inspiration!

It celebrates ‘maximalism,’ which is a major trend for 2019, and is the opposite of minimalism. It’s all about making your decor busy and bold! So, it’s no surprise that the Colourful Carnival New Year’s Eve Living Room is bursting with bright, shiny elements, glitter and clashing colours!

The flooring is a colourful patchwork of wood effect tiles, from our stylish Nyans range, which is a collection of small plank shaped tiles that uses colours you might not normally associate with wood.

Three colours from the Nyans collection have been used to piece together the striking floor of this stunning Maximalist room. They are: soft taupe, candy pink, and indigo blue.

Made from porcelain, these tiles are long lasting and, unlike natural wood, they’re scratch resistant, which is perfect if you have children or pets running around the place!

Although they can be used on wall spaces as well, we hope you’ll agree that these colourful Nyans Tiles look incredible on this floor space. They’ve been used to create a captivating herringbone design, which is an absolutely timeless layout.

The colours do clash, but they work together beautifully to pull off this stunning Maximalist look!
