Question logo
I ordered some samples of GEA and would like to use the grey GEA tile in a wetroom and the surrounding area. The subfloor is 18mm tongue and groove chipboard and the flush shower base is reinforced stone resin. Wet underfloor heating is present under the chipboard.
I have the following questions:
1. Is this tile suitable for the above?
2. If the tile is suitable... do you recommend the use of waterproof matting under the tiles, or is just tanking the boards sufficient?
Thank you.

Hi Inge,

Yes, these tiles are suitable for your project and we would definitely recommend installing waterproof matting under the tiles.

Kind regards,
