Hi Rachel. Thank you for your query. Yes, these can be tiled over floorboards; however, we don't recommend tiling straight onto Victorian floorboards. We advise making sure the floorboards are secured down and do not move at all, as this can cause breaks in the tile or cause it to move. You can do this by installing backer board or plywood and optionally a decoupling membrane, then using flexible adhesive.
