To clean your Trepanel Aqua® Shower Panels, we advise a soft cloth with warm, soapy water (or non-abrasive anti-bacterial spray). Do not use strong acids to clean your waterproof panels, as this may damage the design.

The production process of all PVC panels, not just Trepanel, is made using a transfer printing process. The surface is not suitable for adhesive tapes as the adhesive on the tape contains chemical substances which can cause damage to the panels, particularly to matt surface panels. There is no requirement to use tape during the installation process, so this would be an error by the customer causing this fault. 

To fix Trepanel Aqua® Shower Panels in the shower, prior to fixing it is important to ensure the surface is clean, dry and structurally sound.  

Waterproofing is strongly advised to prevent water penetration that could damage the underlying surface, for this we recommend the Mapei Shower Waterproofing Kit. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions. We then advise attaching your panels with nail-free adhesive, following the Trepanel Aqua® Shower Panel Guide. Ensure all joints, edges, sides around sinks, baths, shower trays etc and pipes/cutouts are fully sealed using silicone sealant.
