Dulux Colour of the Year 2015: Add Copper Blush to Your Home
Dulux Colour of the Year 2015: Add Copper Blush to Your Home
Paint authority Dulux have recently announced their colour of year for 2015. It's Copper Blush: A warm, peachy colour that fits a scheme of soft reds and oranges, and goes perfectly with crisp whites and wooden furniture. If you've been following our blogs, you'll know that a major interior design trend for 2015 is the idea of inviting raw materials into our homes; stones and woods. Wooden carvings and rough, rugged wooden furniture will be the call of the day. This new colour scheme from Dulux will house these wooden accessories perfectly!
You don't have to buy new to invite this colour into your home! If there's a unit or piece of furniture you're not overly fond of, grab a pot of Dulux's Copper Blush, and give it a coat of paint!
Bring back the copper! True to its name, this new colour from Pantone goes perfectly with anything copper. Pots, pans, cups, light shades - you name it. Get out to the charity shops, the jumble sales and the car boots, and gather together as much copper as you can.
In a dining room setting, a Copper Blush scheme goes perfectly with some parquet effect flooring.
For a vintage wall display, try our Covent Garden Pink Metro Tiles. With their sleek bevelled brick-shaped design, they're perfect for adding a defined new look to an interior wall space. Use them to create a kitchen splashback, or a striking tiled display in a bathroom, en suite or living area.
For a striking villa look, you could introduce our Rustic Red Quarry Tiles. Made from sturdy clay, they fit in with a copper blush scheme, and are perfect for adding Mediterranean charm to a floor area - both inside and outside the home.
Will you be inviting Copper Blush into your home in 2015?
