At some point growing up, most of us have watched Labyrinth - and it's a film that tends to stick with us. It was one of my favourite films when I was younger - I'd have it on repeat. In memory of David Bowie, who stars in the film, this week's Film Friday revolves around Labyrinth! I've put together a decor scheme to help you capture some of this movie's magic in your home.

Released in 1986, Labyrinth consists of an enchanting mix of Jim Henson's masterful puppetry, and living, breathing on-screen talent. In a whimsical, dreamy fantasy, Sarah, a teenage girl, must venture through the treacherous Labyrinth to retrieve her baby brother from Jareth the Goblin King (David Bowie), who has stolen him...

Labyrinth decor scheme

1) One of the most visually striking scenes in the movie is the masquerade ball, where Sarah dances with Jareth the Goblin King. To help capture some of this mystique, how about hanging this Men's Black Long Nosed Masquerade Mask - £12.99, eBay.

2) Brighten up a dressing table with this decorative, shimmering Silver Jewelled Table Top Mirror. £13.99, Dunelm.

3) If you've seen Labyrinth, you'll probably remember the physics-defying scene where Jared and Sarah are rushing around a nonsensical nest of stairs that reach in every direction. It's actually based on the artwork 'Relativity' (a print of which hangs on Sarah's bedroom wall). Get your own Relativity Print. £17.99,

4) Capture the glittering glisten of the masquerade ball by hanging this Lightweight Disco Mirror Ball. £12.95 , Amazon.

5) Sarah's teddy Lancelot features in the film. For a charming, characterful teddy of your own, try this Steiff Elmar Teddy Bear. £53.45, Precious Little One.

6) Introduce some greenery into your scheme with these twin Artificial Topiary Trees. £49.99, Argos.

7) Recreate the Gothic look of the labyrinth's wall with these Charcoal Brick Effect Tiles - suitable for use on both walls and floors. £29,95 per Sqm, Walls and Floors.

8) Invite the warm, stony charm of the Goblin King's castle into your home with these Comitan Sabbia Stone Effect Tiles, £59.95 per Sqm, Walls and Floors.
