So, Rebecca, tell us a little bit about the Putney Tile Studio!

R: The Tile Studio was opened 8 years ago in 2010 as Walls and Floors' London-based showroom. We're situated along Lower Richmond Road, at 135A, adjacent to the Thames.

What's your role at the Tile Studio, and how long have you been there?

R: I'm the manager. I have worked in the Studio 6 years, but have worked in the tile industry for 20 years, so I've lots of knowledge on all the products and the latest trends.

What's the best way to get there?

R: The Studio is only a 10 minute walk from both the Putney over ground station and the Putney Bridge under ground station on the District line.  If you'd rather travel by bus, numbers 22, 265 and 485 stop nearby, and if you'd like to drive, there's plenty of pay-to-park spaces in the street outside.

What do you enjoy most about the job?

R: I really enjoy the creative aspect of my role; advising customers on their choice of tiles to achieve their perfect finish, whether it is a single space or a whole house project.

So what can we expect when we visit the Tile Studio?

R: You can certainly expect good advice from experienced friendly staff. We have a wide selection of tiles on show, and customers can take away samples on the day.

Do customers have to take the tiles away with them, or can they get them delivered?

R: We do not keep stock here, but we can order it from the Walls and Floors warehouse. We can offer a doorstep delivery service, or for small orders we can get stock direct to the Studio for the customer to collect.

Does the Putney Tile Studio offer interest free finance?

R: Yes we do, which is great because it allows customers with a tighter budget to spread the cost of their tiles and accessories.

Out of all the fantastic tile options at the Tile Studio, what's your favourite range?

R: My favourite has got to be Evoque as I like the tonal spectrum, and the fact that they come in both matt or semi-polished options.

The Studio is open from 09:30-5:30 Monday-Saturday, so pop along and get inspired for your next tiling project!

Do you offer late night openings, for customers who work late?

We do indeed. We can open later on a Thursday evening but we ask for 48 hours' notice, and it's subject to staff availability.
