Wear it Pink Day: Breast Cancer Awareness

Today at Walls and Floors, we’re taking a break from tiles to raise awareness for breast cancer, by donning our prettiest pink outfits and raising money to help fund the life-saving research and life-changing care that @breastcancernow provides.

Over the past year, people have been diagnosed with breast cancer at a time when everything from screenings to treatment has been disrupted, so the support that Breast Cancer Now’s events provide and the hope their research generates has never been more important.

Our thoughts are with everyone whose lives have been affected by cancer ? 

At Walls and Floors, we were prepared for a full day of fun ahead with games, fancy dress and a cake sale to spread awareness and raise money for this wonderful cause. Our target was to raise £500 and when all of us came together… we made the mark!

Our bake sale raised £176 and the total raised from online donations was £324, making a total of £500. We’re incredibly proud of the efforts made by our team and we can’t wait to get together to raise awareness for breast cancer again next year.
