Description

Frame your floor tiling display with these decorative Churchill Crimson & Midnight Border Tiles. A chequered mix of crimson and midnight (dark blue) pieces, these border tiles have a wonderful period appearance. Made from porcelain, they are long-lasting and hard-wearing and can be used in interior spaces, including areas with underfloor heating.

With a 3mm gap between tiles, the square pieces measure 45x45mm. The rectangle pieces measure 130x22mm. The triangular pieces measure 41x41x58mm. There are 16 individual tiles per border sheet and approximately 3.8 border sheets per linear metre.

Once the tiles are laid, we recommend using

LTP Porcelain Tile Protector before grouting for the best finish.

How much waste would there be if I wanted these tiles laid in a diamond pattern 28m x 1.10m?Our Advice

Hi Georgina, If you were to use the mosaic sheets rather than the border in a diamond pattern we would recommend 10% wastage, for an area of 28mx1.1m it would be 30.8sqm so you'd need to order 33.8sqm which is 373 sheets. Kind regards, Walls and Floors.

Hi Philip The mosaic sheets 291x291mm. The borders are supplied on a mesh as a single piece measuring 264x118mm and interlock with each other. We would recommend obtaining samples to ensure you are happy with the colours and finish. It will also help you to plan the layout if you have the pieces physically in front of you.
