Hello - can you use these for tiling a working fire place Our Advice

Hi Chris, As long as the tiles are 4-6 inches away from direct heat, these will be suitable to be used for a fire place surround. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Can it be used for bathroom floor? Thanks Our Advice

Hey Yunny, Yes, these can be used on a bathroom floor. They are ceramic, so not porous. Perfect to give a bit of character to the bathroom!

Hi, I ordered a free sample, but was surprised that the design was just printed on rather than scored into the tile, as mentioned in the description. Are the tiles meant to have a completely smooth surface? Thanks! Our Advice

Hi Tessa Yes, these are a smooth-surface, glazed ceramic tile. The score lines are down the middle and across the centre in which you grout so once completed make the appearance of 4 smaller tiles. I hope this helps, Kind Regards Walls and Floors

What size spacers would you recommend when laying these tiles? Our Advice

Hi CK When laying any tile, we recommend a minimum of a 2mm grout line if fixing to the wall and a minimum of a 3mm grout line if laying on the floor. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

Are these tiles suitable for outdoors? Thanks youOur Advice

Hi Yvette These tiles are made from ceramic so we do not recommend that they are laid outside. Porcelain is a much stronger, harder-wearing material that is frost proof and therefore suitable for use outdoors. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
