Thanks for your query.
These aren't an anti-slip tile but would be fine for use in a kitchen, hall and dining room. I advise looking in the anti-slip section of the website if you really want a tile with an R rating.

The amount you need works out to be 5.48 sqm. But there should also be another box provided to enter the exact number of tiles required (24). If you are having difficulty in placing your order, please call our sales team on 01536 314730 and they will be more than happy to help you.

The grout colour you use is entirely down to personal preference. Whilst we do not have a grout that will be an exact match, the most common shades to use are mid grey, which will provide a subtle contrast to the tile, or brown, which will be slightly darker, but complement the darker graining of the tile design. To help you decide, we can provide samples from our Norcros 4 Into 1 Grout range and would recommend obtaining a sample tile and a selection of grout colours to compare, before making your final decision.

These tiles are ceramic so we do not recommend them for external use. For a patio, we would advise using a frost resistant porcelain, ideally with an anti-slip finish to ensure they have better grip in wet conditions. The anti-slip version of our Vintage Wood Planks would be one suggestion if you would like to stick to the wood effect:

These tiles are fine for kitchen use. Also, being glazed they are impervious to surface spillages and staining. The only thing you may wish to consider as an option is to seal the grout to prevent discolouration, using the LTP Grout & Tile Protector:

I am looking for planked effect inside my shower. Are these tiles suitable and waterproof to use inside the shower?
Thanks.
These tiles are glazed ceramic so fine for use in correctly prepared showers. As with any wet area tile installation, the substrate needs to be made waterproof using a suitable tanking kit, such as the Ardex WPC. The tiles can then be installed using a cement based adhesive, such as our Stand Flex:

Thank you for your enquiry. This has been passed on to our sales team who will contact you shortly with a best price quotation.
These tiles are fine for use in wet areas and compatible with underfloor heating. The do not have an anti-slip rating so if using directly on the floor in the shower, we would recommend obtaining a sample to test that is is suitable for your personal requirements. If the are in the room outside a shower enclosure, if slip resistance is a concern, you may wish to consider a bath mat or towel in the immediate wet areas.

Can you tell me what colour grout you have used in the pictures above with these tiles please?
Is it the stone grey that is shown in the "you might also need" section?
Just checking also that this is suitable for underfloor heating?
Many thanks
Rachel
These tiles are glazed ceramic so will be suitable for all forms of underfloor heating, from water-fed systems to our electric underfloor heating kits:
https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/underfloor-tile-heating
The various we have show a few grout variations from the Stone Grey to a couple of shades of brown/ The colour you choose is entirely down to personal preference.Whilst the Stone grey is a popular colour, the darker brown grouts can create a contrast and complement the colour of the wood grain design.
Should you wish to check a few colours, we can provide samples from our Norcros 4 Into 1 Grout range to compare to a sample tile before making your final decision:
https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-grout
These tiles can be used in wet areas. However, they are not guaranteed as anti slip so will provide minimal grip in wet conditions. We would recommend obtaining a sample to ensure they are suitable for your personal requirements before making your final decision.

These tiles are glazed ceramic so will be fine against spillages. They also have a wearing grade of 4 which is suitable for all domestic and commercial areas subject to normal foot traffic. However no tile is fully guaranteed against scratching due to the varying conditions a tile can be subjected to. These tiles and many others of the same grade, are very hard and resistant to scratching so should cater fine for dog claws or light dirt being walked over them, but harsher grit could possibly minor surface abrasion.
We would recommend obtaining a sample to ensure you are happy with the finish before making your final decision.

if not what sort of mm size difference should I expect in a box ?
These tiles are not rectified. However when they are manufactured, due to the varying sizes following the firing process, they are sorted into separate calibres and loaded to different pallets. So although the tolerance allowed by BSEN14411 is +/- 2mm size variation (4mm from smallest to largest), the sorting process limits each pallet to be nearer to +/- 0.5 to 1mm. Due to the overall size and shape of the tile, it is unlikely that there will be any variation in the width, however if there is minor difference in the length, this should not be noticeable if the tiles are laid in one of the recommended layouts:

Unfortunately, these tile do not have a matching skirting. However it is extremely common for customers to cut the tiles in half length ways, and to fit the strips as a skirting, and finish of with a tile trim such as these:

Walls And Floors
There are approximately 6-8 different pattern variations but the position of them is printed in random positions of the tile. So there is ample opportunity to get a natural looking layout. We would recommend loose laying a larger area to achieve a suitable blend of wood grain before physically fixing them.

These tiles are ceramic so as well suited to external use as a porcelain equivalent. We recommend porcelain tiles with an R-11 rating or high for external areas. One such range in the wood effect would be our Vintage Wood Planks, which features a smooth indoor version and a non-slip equivalent suitable for external areas:

Walls And Floors
These tiles are ceramic and have a very smooth finish, so we would not recommend them for external use. However a frost resistant and anti-slip alternative that would be suitable is the Larice from the Vintage Wood Planks Range:

These tiles can be used on a worktop. We would the adhesive you use will dependent on the substrate but out Uniflex is suitable for most situations. For hygiene purposes, we recommend the us of the Mapei Kerapoxy Design Grout:

These tiles can be used in bathrooms but areas that are constantly in contact with water such as wetroom floors, we would normally advise a tile with a slip resistance rating of R10 or greater.
Due to supplier recommendations, we would not be able to offer any future guarantees on tiles that have had they technical characteristics physically altered. The Lithofin Anti-Slip permanently etches the glaze which will slightly sacrifice the finish of the tile for the slip resistance in wet conditions. But although it would work, it is impossible to say how much of an anti-slip gain you will achieve. It could however be advantageous to perform a test before fixing, to ensure you will be happy with the final outcome.

These tiles can be used around woodburners. We would recommend that they are fixed with a heat resistant adhesive such as the Palace Heat Resist:

A good grout to use is the Mapei Ultracolour Plus which is flexible, anti mould and has built in moisture repellents to prevent staining. Colour is down to personal preference, but the colour used in the image and one of the most popular among previous customers is Chocolate:

These tiles are fine for all residential/domestic foot traffic and suitable for bathroom floors. The matt surface of these tiles gives a degree of slip resistance. We would recommend you order a sample first though to make sure you are happy with the colour and finish.
