Bought these for the bathroom walls and they look stunning - very happy!

Although the cost and quality are good, they weren't exactly what we were looking for so we didn't purchase any.

Lovely tiles, at a great price. Look very high end without the price tag. They are all slightly uneven shapes, which makes for a challenging tiling experience, but would buy them again!

Are these suitable for a wet room?
Nadine | 3 Nov 2020

Answer logo
Hi Nadine

Thanks for your query.

These tiles can be used in a wetroom. However, they would only really be suitable for the walls as they don't have an anti-slip surface and so aren't the most practical for floors. I suggest looking in the anti-slip section of our website for floor tiles https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/anti-slip-tiles

Kind regards

Can you advise on grout colour which would give a seamless finish to the walls. I have a brought a light grey grout from you but an wondering if I have made the wrong choice. The manhatten grey grout is that lighter or darker? Would appreciate some advice. Thank you

Hello Justine

Thank you for your query.

As the tiles and grout are made by different companies it will be very hard to get an exact match however the Manhattan is a good choice, the Moon white by Mapei may also work well.

Kind regards

Question logo
Hi, regarding the weight in product info, is this per sqm? Ask as wondering if suitable to go on plastered wall with 20kg per sqm weight limit (inc adhesive and grout).
Also at 7mm is this range definitely suitable for floor?

Many thanks
J | 4 Apr 2019

Answer logo
Hello and thank you for your enquiry.

The weight of the adhesive should be no more than 4kg, so you will still be within the limit for tiling onto a plastered wall.

As for the thickness of the tile, they are porcelain which is stronger than regular ceramic and perfectly fine for use on the floor. It is a misconception that the thinner a tile is, the less suitable, as regardless of the size and providing they are installed correctly with a 100% solid coverage of adhesive for support, it will perform just as well as a thicker alternative.

What colour trim would you suggest for this tile? Thanks.
Sue | 22 Feb 2019

Answer logo
Hi Sue,

Due to the shading on the tiles, no trim will provide an exact match. One other option is to get for an 8mm PVC trim to colour match the grout lines, or the most popular choice for this particular range is to have a contrast, with metal trim, such as these:

Can these tiles be used in a wet room?
Mr steven wu | 11 Jun 2018

Answer logo
Hi Steven

These tiles are porcelain, so impervious to moisture and can be used in wet areas. They do not have an anti-slip rating, so we would recommend you obtain a sample to ensure the finish is suitable for your personal requirements before making your decision.

Question logo
Do you recommend using black grout for these tiles to go on walls?
Farshad | 2 Jun 2018
0
Answer logo
Hi Farshad

The colour of grout used is down to personal preference and there is no reason why black cannot be used. However due to the high pigment content, we would advise grouting small areas at a time, washing of the excess as you go and frequently change your water to keep the tiles as clean as possible. If you end up with the black grout film on the face of the tiles after completion, a quick scrub with a the LTP Grout Stain Remover and a white emulsifying pad will remove it:
