When Jessica came to refreshing her kitchen area, she opted for one of the most prominent trends the interior design world has to offer – the industrial look. Cool matt white metro tiles, factory-styled stools, rustic wood effect tiles and industrial pendant light shades were the call of the day, and brought together this wonderful scheme.
More and more homeowners are seizing to keep their kitchens and dining areas as two separate rooms. Rather, they are merging the two in open plan kitchen diners. This is achieved through dragging dining tables into the kitchen or, like Jessica has done, creating a breakfast bar island where guests can pull up a stool and tuck in.
