Scaling New Heights: Our Teams Snowdon Challenge Supporting Kettering Mind

On the 19th of April, a very brisk Friday morning, the dedicated team from Walls and Floors and Tile Mountain Group embarked on a spirited ascent up Snowdon, not just to conquer its peak, but to raise vital funds for Kettering Mind, championing mental health support in our community.

To say we’re proud is an understatement!

As the highest mountain in England and Wales, Snowdon is notorious for being tough to climb, but with determination and mental strength, the team made it to the summit.

Karen, our HR Manager, climbed with the group on Friday and said some wonderful words about the experience – “Despite encountering extreme physical challenges, adverse weather conditions, and daunting situations, my team powered through for a very worthy cause. I’m very proud of each and every one of them.”

Our climbers have already raised an impressive £1,888 for Kettering Mind, and we’re eager to see that number grow even higher! Kettering Mind is dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being in our community. They work tirelessly to ensure that everyone has support during challenging times. There are various drinks on the table, from water to cola and beer, enhancing the casual atmosphere of a shared meal or social gathering. The warm lighting and framed pictures on the stone wall in the background contribute to the cosy ambience.
