Hi Jo

These tiles are glazed porcelain so can be used on floors. However they do have a rough brick texture so would recommend obtaining a sample to ensure it is suitable for your project, before making your final decision.

If you wish to discuss your project in more detail or to arrange samples or a quotation, please call our Sales Team on 01536 314730, and they will be more than happy to help you.

Would you recommend using a grey grout with these tiles? I recently bought them for my kitchen but when you place them together the join in between each tile is quite noticeable. Thanks

Hi Rachel

Albeit not an exact match, to blend in with the faux mortar lines, the Mapei Ultracolour Medium Grey is the closest colour:

Can these tiles be used behind a log burner..
Miss Victoria Bewley | 25 Jan 2019

Hi Victoria,

These tiles are glazed porcelain, which make them naturally heat resistant and ideal for use around a wood burner. For tiling in areas of excessive heat, we recommend fixing the tile with the Palace Heat Resist adhesive and grout with the Norcros 4 Into 1 Grout:

Question logo
Silly question but are this OK to get wet? I noticed that some of your tiles which are listed for "exterior" use cannot get wet, hence the question. If we used these outside and they suffered from heavy rainfall would they be fine? Thanks!
Ciaren | 3 Oct 2018

Answer logo
Hi Ciaren,

These tiles are fine for external wall use as they are impervious to water and frost resistant. The reason some tiles are suitable for exterior but we say don't get wet, is due to the slip resistance when used on a floor in wet conditions. Because they are frost resistant doesn't necessarily mean they won't be slippery in bad weather. However this is not a concerning factor if being installed on walls.

Hi what colour grout would you suggest to go with the beige brick slip effect tiles. Thank you.
David williams | 22 Aug 2018

Hi David,

Due to the Faux mortar joints being slightly varied in shade, there is no exact match but does lean more towards a mid grey colour. As per the description, the closest colour to this is the Mapei Ultracolour Medium Grey 112.

Hi just received my sample of the casa beige brick effect tile. Love it! Just wondering if that’s how they come or do they to interlock them or come as individual brick tiles
Vicky | 19 Mar 2018

Hi Vicky,

The tile you will have been sent as a sample is a full size tile 560x310x10mm. Each large tile is made to look like it is made from 18 “bricks” that are interlocking.

Kind regards,
