Are these tiles suitable for continual soaking I.e. in a shower area?

Thanks

Hi Paul

Yes, they are made from impervious glazed porcelain which is ideal for use in wet areas, as it remains unaffected by constant contact with moisture.

Hi there
What colour grout do you recommend?

Hi Emma

The faux mortar joints on these tiles are a very pale grey. Therefore the closest match to give a near seamless look is the Norcros 4 Into 1 Silver Grey:

hi
Can you advise if these tiles are flat or raised meaning would they encounter any issues with wall sockets in the Kitchen

Cheers

Hi Stephen,

These brick effect tiles do have a slight undulating surface as part of the design but shouldn’t be so great as to effect going around sockets. It would be best to order yourself a sample to see the effect in real terms.

Kind regards,

Question logo
Hi,

Are these tiles designed to butt up to each other directly or would we need to space and grout in between each one?

Thanks
Aimie Leonard | 7 Jul 2018

Answer logo
Hi Aimie,

The interlock on these almost butts together within around 1mm. This gap does need grouting to blend in, with which we would recommend using the Norcros 4 Into 1 Grout. The faux mortar lines do vary in shade across the tile, so there is no exact colour match, but the most popular colour with other customers is the Silver Grey. We can provide grout samples should you wish to compare before making your final decision:

Hi there could these tiles go around a woodbox fire?
Jeremy Esselbrugge | 5 Jul 2018

Answer logo
Hi Jeremy,

These tiles are glazed porcelain so naturally heat resistant and fine for use on surfaces prone to high temperatures. We would recommend fixing them with the Palace Heat Resist Adhesive:

Hi, is there a sealant required for this tile for use as kitchen backsplash? Thanks
Jason | 19 Jun 2018

Answer logo
Hi Jason

These tiles are glazed porcelain so sealing is not required. However as an optional extra, we have the LTP Grout & Tile Protector which can be sprayed on to the tiles after installation, which will aid cleaning and also seal the grout to prevent discolouration:

Hi, which grout should be used to match the grout in between each brick on the tile?
Jason | 17 Jun 2018

Answer logo
Hi Jason,

Because the Faux Mortor lines on the tile vary in shade, there is no exact match, but the closest would be the Norcros 4 Into 1 Silver grey. However we do supply samples for this range should you wish to comapre colours before making your final decision:

Question logo
I've been planning to fit these in an bathroom/shower. With normal tiles the grout in shower areas gets dirty over time even with regular cleaning. How do these tiles fit together, are they completely flush or could an outline of the tile be visible over time? - I like the look of these but I'm not sure if an individual tile would be more suitable. Many thanks
Ben | 17 Jun 2018

Answer logo
Hi Ben,

These tiles are glazed porcelain so fine for use in showers, bathrooms and wet rooms. When the tiles go together, the interlock can be left with a uniform 1-2mm grout joints. The silver grey would be the best colour to try and blend in although sample of other colours are available should you wish to compare before you buy:
https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-grout

Additional protection can be given to the grout lines to prevent discolouration, by sealing them with the LTP Grout & Tile Protector:

Can these tiles be over-painted to achieve a different colour, if so, what preparation is required.
John Hannon | 3 Jun 2018

Answer logo
Hi John

Tile paints are available, although we do not supply them. Generally, the tiles will need to be cleaned from dusk and grease before application but you will need to refer to the paint manufactures instructions as to what other preparations will be required, if any. We recommend some nice new shiny tiles!

Question logo
Hi - I have ordered x6 packs of the Dove white painted brick effect tiles. I understand they come if panel sections but where they sit flush against a wall do I trim the tile ends off to do this. Can I then install these cuts when sitting against the opposite wall. Or do I purchase some single tiles for this.
Mark jewell | 30 Jan 2018

Answer logo
Hi Mark,

It will take a small amount of planning to establish where the cuts will fall so you can adjust as required. But to fit into internal corner, the interlock can be cut off to sit flush. I hope this helps, but if you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01536 314730.
