Hi Dom, These tiles are suitable for use around a fireplace, however, please ensure the tiles are 4-6 inches away from the direct heat. Due to natural stone's porosity, they require sealing. To ensure they are well-protected, they need to be given a few coats before grouting and a further coat after. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Hi Jack, Yes, these can be used around a fireplace. They will however, need to be sealed with either LTP Mattstone Tile Sealer or LTP Tile Colour Intensifier. Hi There, To keep the tiles their natural colour you can use the LTP Mattstone, but if you require to deepen the colour slightly, the LTP Colour Intensifier can be used as an alternative. We would also recommend using the LTP Waxwash, to clean the tiles.
