DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the popular encaustic tiles of yesteryear, these Ledbury Slate Grey Pattern Tiles are perfect for introducing a characterful statement floor or feature wall in your bathroom, kitchen, hallway or living area. Made from ceramic, they can be used on both walls and floors and have a charming satin finish. These large format tiles have a grid scored into the surface which you grout into, to give the illusion of multiple tiles. Anti Slip grade is R10/PTV rating +36 in the wet.
We highly recommend pre-sealing Ledbury tiles, before grouting, with LTP Porcelain Protector. Due to the nature of the anti-slip glaze, some grouts may cause a slight discolouration. Pre-sealing ensures the perfect finish and also aids future maintenance. For sealed glazed floor tiles such as this, we recommend regular cleaning with the LTP Porcelain Tile Cleaner.
> Easy to fit without losing the traditional look and feel
> Suitable for walls and floors
> Encaustic styled pattern

Very lovely tiles but very large. Perhaps didn't read the description properly but the tile is in fact 4 tiles in one.

Looks good

Lovely Spanish tiles. I now have a nice Andalucian style in my utility room, which I am delighted with. Really easy to lay, and the pattern makes it seem that I have laid four times as many tiles! Surface is nice, smooth with a reasonable amount of friction so not at all slippery.

Thanks

I have just bought these Ledbury slate grey tiles, and am very pleased with them. I am wondering what the best colour grout would be for them?
Thanks
I'm very interested in those beautiful tiles, but live in Germany. Is it possibly to ship them to Germany and if yes, how much is the shipping fee (also just for a sample)?
Thank you and regards,
Sophie
Could you tell me the name of the grey tiles on the walls on the photo above of Ledbury Slate Grey Pattern please....iam looking to purchase the Ledbury grey , and really like the other tiles with it.

There are two roomset images. One is of a bathroom which has the White Chapel Metro Bevelled tiles, and the second is a kitchen which has the Aquarelle Mint 30x10 tiles:

Unfortunately, we do not supply any Farrow & Ball Paints, and would, therefore, be unable to provide any advice on this. But you could order a sample to take to your nearest stockist, to compare before making your final decision.

The Grout & Tile Protector does give the tile additional resistance to staining, by providing a repellent barrier. However, this does not alter the slip resistance properties when wet.

Before applying to the whole floor, we would suggest trying a small sample area to ensure it provides you with the required finish.

We have not had any reports of anyone having an issue with cleaning these tiles, but we will be more than happy to look into this for you. The tiles have an impervious glaze so no stain will be penetrating the tile per se, but engraining onto the glaze.
A couple of possibilities could be:
A thin haze of grout residue from installation. This will attract dirt very quickly and cannot be removed with conventional cleaners. It would require the LTP Grout Stain Remover to strip off.
https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-tile-grout-stain-remover
General dirt from heavy foot traffic. The tiles have a microtexture which gives a degree of slip resistance. However, it does mean dirt can easily attach in areas linked with outside, like a kitchen or a hallway. An intensive clean with the LTP Grimex should clear the dirt, but ongoing maintenance should continue with the LTP Floorshine, which will gradually lay a protective barrier that aids future cleaning.

https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-floorshine-tile-maintenance
Once the tiles are clean, another couple of products that may help are the LTP Grout & Tile Protector which gives the tile a repellant barrier to aid future cleaning, or the LTP Glaze Protector, which aid cleaning and provide the tile with a permanent "just mopped" look:

If you can send images of your floor to customerservice@wallsandfloors.co.uk, we will be more than happy to take a further look for you, to clarify the problem and offer a suitable solution.

I’ve just laid these tiles in our bathroom (looks lovely!) and wanted to know whether we need to seal the tile and grout at all? Thanks
These tiles are glazed ceramic and do not require sealing, however you can aid cleaning and prevent grout discolouration by applying an optional coating of the LTP Grout & Tile Protector:

just received my lovely Ledbury tiles, but the spacing between is red........ Does the grout actually go over the tile as well as between?
That is correct. The score line is intended to be grouted over. This can be any colour of your choosing and is designed to make it look like 4 individual tiles. We would recommend using the Norcros 4 Into 1 Grout. Colour samples of which are available, should you wish to compare before making your final decision:

I've just ordered a sample for a large hall (16 sq/m). Ideally I'd like a boarder tile to go with this and run around the edge of the hall.
Just wondered if you can recommend any tiles from another range that might work with this?
James
Due to the unique design, incorporating a border will be difficult and is not common among previous customers. The only suggestion we have is to make a Victorian style border from our Victorian Border and inset range, the colours of which can be customised to your preference. For further information, please contact our sales team on 01536 314730 and they will be more than happy to assist you:

The grout in the image is the Norcros 4 Into 1 Silver Grey Grout. Colour samples from this grout range can be ordered should you wish to compare other colours with the tile before making your final decision:

This is one of our most popular tiles at the moment and we’ve never had any issues with the grout failing in this way. As long as the grout is applied correctly you will have no problems. Dependent on grout used, suitability runs from 1mm up to in some cases 12mm, so making sure the correct type is selected is important for the job, I can suggest using https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolour-plus-grout-ultracolour-plus-103-moon-white-tile-grout or https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/bal-wall-tile-grout-micromax2-gunmetal-wall-and-floor-grout-10781 but the colour choice is a personal preference.
Kind regards,

These tiles are ceramic which normally cannot be used outside, but have a lower than normal moisture absorption rate. So they can be used externally but we would recommend they are protected from direct rain and frost if possible. If you would like to discuss other possible ranges, please contact our sales team on 01536 314730 and they will be more than happy to assist you.

The only strips we have suitable for the floor that the Victorian Unglazed 150x25 strips. They are available in an array of colours and we would advise sealing them with the LTP Grout & Tile Protector to prevent moisture pentration:
https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-grout-tile-protector-sealer
Alternatively, you can pick a tile of your choosing to cut to the desired length and finish the edge to create a bespoke design.

Thank you for your question
The ledbury tiles do not require sealing however they are an anti-slip tile so does have extra texture which could cause cleaning them to be more difficult.
Our recommendation would be to use a hard bristled brush with soupy water and to stear clear away from mops and fibred cleaning tools.
Kind regards,
Walls and Floors
Unfortunately, this is the only grey this particular tile comes in. However for a similar pattern in a darker colour, our Rosebery Statement range might be of some interest to you:
