Trepanel XL® 3m Oak Wide Acoustic Wood Slat Panels

Just finished installing the Light Oak Trepanel XL wide slat panels from Walls and Floors and really impressed with the quality. The finish is spot on, panels were easy to work with, and the overall look is clean and modern. The veneer wrap on all edges of the slats is a really nice touch and makes a big difference to the overall look and quality. I’ve also previously installed the Smoked Oak version, which looked just as good, so it’s great to see consistency across the range. Had a couple of tricky tapered cuts due to uneven walls but the panels handled it well and still came out great. Definitely recommend if you’re after a high-end feature wall without too much hassle.

Very pleased with our wide slat panels. Previously used a competitor who was much more expensive but not sure why I paid the extra previously. Trepanel are excellent. We’ve used on our conservatory ceiling along with thermal insulation. The look fantastic, easy to cut and the finish is impressive! We’ve received lots of compliments already ?

Excellent Product Quality and Supportive Service – Just One Suggestion for Delivery I recently ordered 38 pieces of slat wall panels from Walls and Floors at a great price to decorate my home. Overall, I had a very positive experience with both the product and the service. The panels were delivered in two separate batches, and I really appreciated the responsive online customer service team. I reached out to confirm delivery timing because I needed to ensure I could take my daughter to school and still be home to receive the items. The staff was prompt and helpful, contacting the warehouse and confirming everything so that delivery would happen within the expected time slot. That level of communication gave me great peace of mind. The delivery tracking service was also excellent – I received updates both by email and by phone message. Getting a notification two hours ahead of the scheduled delivery gave me a strong sense of security and allowed me to prepare and react accordingly. That attention to detail in customer communication was a big plus in the overall experience. The only issue I encountered was with the kerbside delivery policy. I wasn’t aware in advance that the 3-meter panels would be dropped off at the apartment lobby only. This caused significant inconvenience, especially since they were heavy and I had no help to bring them up to my flat. I asked the delivery driver for assistance, but understandably, he explained that due to insurance policies, he couldn’t carry the panels upstairs. While I respect that policy, I would suggest that Walls and Floors add a clear reminder about the kerbside-only delivery during the ordering process. I would gladly have paid for an upgraded delivery option if available. As for the product itself – absolutely fantastic. The oak wood panels are beautifully crafted and aligned on the black backing felt. While a few were slightly off in length by a few millimetres, it's totally acceptable given the natural materials and handmade process. Installation was straightforward, and although the panels had a slight wood smell initially, it faded after a few days in a ventilated space. Now that the panels are installed, they’ve significantly elevated the look and feel of my apartment. I love the final result and would highly recommend Walls and Floors to my friends. Great products, excellent customer support – just a small tweak to delivery communication would make the experience perfect.
