Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning and Maintenance
We recommend regular cleaning with a duster or soft brush to gently remove dust and debris, and avoid harsh brushes and scratchy materials.
Do NOT use any type of wood or furniture polish, as it can damage the veneer. Our panels are fully finished, so no need for additional maintenance or oiling.
Periodic use of vacuums with a soft attachment can easily remove dust from the felt back.
For more stubborn stains, use a damp cloth (not wet). If spills occur, use a clean, absorbent cloth to dry immediately.
Avoid excess moisture with Trepanel® as the felt back should not come into contact with liquids.
Installation Guide
Installation Guide
To fix Trepanel® we recommend using either 38mm screws or Mapei Super Grip Panel Adhesive. One panel requires 15 screws or one tube of adhesive.
Each piece of veneer is a natural material, and so may undergo changes when exposed to light for long periods of time.
Please note: We do not recommend use in areas close to a heat source, e.g. a hob or fireplace, or where they will come into direct contact with water.

Q & A
Hi Gemma, Trepanel cannot be used behind a radiator as the heat may affect the veneer on the panels. These Panels are not to be used anywhere near a heat source for this reason. Kind regards, Walls and Floors.
Good Morning Simon, Yes, it is possible to hang a picture or mirror on the Wall Panels, but it requires careful installation. The panels consist of wood slats mounted on a felt backing. While the slats provide some structural strength, they are not designed to bear heavy loads on their own. To safely hang items, the fixings should go through the panel and anchor into the solid wall behind it. We do not recommend relying solely on the panel material to support weight, especially for heavier items like mirrors. For light artwork or frames, appropriate wall anchors, screws, or picture hooks that are suited to your wall type can be used, provided they go through the panel and secure into the wall itself. Kind regards, Walls and Floors
Hi Sarah, We are currently in the process of transitioning between double boxes to single boxes. However, our panels are ordered by the quantity you require for your project. You will need to be input this amount into the 'QTY' box on the product listing. Kind regards, Walls and Floors
Hi Emma, The felt used on our Trepanel® range is PET felt. This means that no wool is used to manufacture this. Kind regards, Walls and Floors
Hi Aditi, Unfortunately, we do not have the colour codes for the panels. I'd recommend taking samples into your local paint store and getting the shade mixed up. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.
Hi Reanne, You can easily cut the panels with a Stanley knife for the felt and a wood saw for the wood. Kind regards, Walls and Floors.
Hi Anthony, Our Trepanels® have not been fire rated. We do have some wood slat effect tiles which may be more suited to your needs. Kind Regards, Walls & Floors
