QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (2)
This adhesive can be used on light-weight ceramic wall tiles, but it is better suited to the larger format, heavier duty ceramic and porcelain tiles. With smaller metro tiles, it is vital that you strike a balance between a thin bed depth and full coverage.
Rapid setting adhesive can shrink if laid thicker than required, which puts stress in the tiles and can sometimes lead to crazing in the glaze. We would recommend that if a cement based adhesive is used, that it be the slow setting Stand Flex adhesive:

The maximum final bed depth for this adhesive is 6mm. At this depth, you would probably only achieve approximately 2 sqm per bag. If the floor height needs building up it would be advisable to use a self levelling compound to a depth of 6-7mm and fix the tiles with a standard 3 bed depth of adhesive:
https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-tile-preparation-sealants-ultraplan-renovation-screed-levelling-compound
Using this method, one bag of the compound will cover 3 sqm and the adhesive will cover 4-5 sqm depending on the trowel used for application.
