1) Sally’s Vintage Floor

Patterned tiles have never been more popular. A couple of years ago, colourful Moroccan patterns were all the rage. Now, though, the trend has switched to more muted, encaustic styled designs, which are perfect for injecting a vintage, period look into an interior space.

Sally used our Oakham Grey Scored Tiles to create an encaustic effect statement floor in her bathroom and we think you’ll agree, it looks great!

2) Jessica’s industrial kitchen

When Jessica came to refreshing her kitchen area, she opted for one of the most prominent trends the interior design world has to offer – the industrial look. Rustic Oak Wood Effect Tiles were the call of the day, and they formed the perfect base to this wonderful scheme!

Alive with knots and texture, they’re extremely lifelike and add plenty of character! More and more homeowners are seizing to keep their kitchens and dining areas as two separate rooms. Rather, they are merging the two in open plan kitchen diners.

3) Angela’s Moroccan bathroom floor

Aren’t these patterned Galena Tiles amazing? A patchwork of Arabesque designs, Angela used them to create a monochrome Moroccan statement floor in her bathroom space. It acts as a charismatic base to her luxurious and glamorous scheme! So impressive is Angela’s project that it recently featured in Ideal Home Magazine.

Top tip: For a lavish look in your bathroom, add a stylish little armchair that ties in with the colour scheme!

4) Debbie’s Marble-Look Floor

Debbie wanted to inject a little luxury into her bathroom space. She had grown tired of her old bathroom’s dated linoleum flooring. That’s why she decided to give the room a marble-tastic makeover, using our gorgeous Venato Marble Effect Tiles! Marble is by far the most desired of all natural stones.

Why? Because of it’s characterful veining; the lines that flick this way and that across a contrasting backdrop. Natural marble requires sealing, which is why these zero-maintenance, lifelike marble effect alternatives are a popular choice!

5) Ginka’s Vintage Kitchen Floor

Ginka wanted to inject a charming vintage look into her kitchen, and wanted to do away with the bland stone effect tiles in place on her floor.

Her prayers were answered when she found our Harran Tiles, which have a gorgeous antique pattern; ideal for transporting a room back to the styles of yesteryear. With their wonderfully ornate vintage look, they are perfect for creating a statement floor in a kitchen space!

6) Michelle’s Moroccan Hallway

The hallway is the part of your home that your guests see first, so it gives visitors their first impression of your humble abode. When Michelle decided it was high time her hallway was given the kiss of life, she knew she needed some tiles that gave a good, strong impression. That’s why she opted for our patterned Naklo Tiles!

A mix of warm hues, these geometric floor tiles have a Moroccan / Mediterranean look to them; ideal for injecting a cultured, well-travelled look into the home.

7) Kelly’s Hexagonal Bathroom Floor

Hexagons are another key design trend when it comes to decorating a floor. There has been an explosion of hexagon tiles over the last couple of years. Kelly used one of our favourite hexagonal designs – the patterned Contour Hexagon Tiles – to create a stunning statement floor throughout her bathroom.

We love how it draws the eye! If you recognise these tiles, it may be because we donated some to DIY SOS! Nick Knowles and the team loved them.

8) Carl’s Rustic Look

Carl’s kitchen was nothing to write home about – it had bland, ageing white floor tiles and beige cabinetry, and he’d grown tired of it. That’s why he decided to give it an overhaul! He stripped out the old units, added a stylish dark work top, and swapped that dull flooring for some super-lifelike, gorgeous wood effect Barn Tiles!

We think you’ll agree – the transformation is amazing. Wood effect tiles are durable and hard-wearing and, unlike natural wood, they’re zero maintenance!

9) Becky’s Statement Floor

Becky’s narrow, windowless kitchen was lacking a bit of panache, so she took action! Adding colourful pattern tiles to a floor space, and creating a statement floor, is a great way of inject character and personality into an otherwise plain or bland room.

Becky knew this all too well, so she decided to install our Louane Pattern Tiles! The contrasting plain cream cupboard doors really help to bring out the pattern and colour in the floor tiles! Becky’s adorable kitty seems to approve!
